I could think of scenarios where you don’t exactly need the specifics.(Because I’ve been bothered by the “you need to be specific” comments of the panelists on the presentation today. Really bothered that my daydreaming was interrupted.Hah.

Okay, really the advantages of the specifics outweigh the disadvantages because it removes all the ambiguities and the likes. But really,  when someone tells you you’re beautiful, do you respond with “could you be more specific?”.
